What Information Do We Collect?
When you visit our website you may provide us with two types of
information: personal information you knowingly choose to disclose that
is collected on an individual basis and website use information
collected on an aggregate basis as you and others browse our website.
Registration Information
You may choose to provide us information about yourself, your firm or
company, and your practices when you register to be a member of
EchoSpan.com, register for certain services, or register for estimates,
information or alerts. You may also provide additional comments on how
you see EchoSpan.com servicing your needs and interests.
Email Information
If you choose to correspond with us through email, we may retain the
content of your email messages together with your email address and our
responses. If you provide us your email address via a sales form on the site,
we may contact you regarding product updates or company news. You may
opt out of marketing communications we may send to you. If you are a
customer of EchoSpan, even if you opt out of receiving any communications from
us, we reserve the right to contact you regarding you account
status or any other matter that might affect our service to you and/or
our records on you.
Information Use
All information collected by EchoSpan's data entry forms is stored on Microsoft Azure servers located in the European Union and operated by EchoSpan, Inc.
EchoSpan.com reserves the right to analyze statistics of user behavior
and characteristics. We do this in an effort to measure interest in and
use of the various pages of our website.
EchoSpan.com collects the IP addresses of some non-authenticated users
for security and systems administration. Your IP address is
automatically assigned to your computer when you use the World Wide web.
Our servers record incoming IP addresses of unauthenticated users. The
IP addresses are analyzed only in aggregate.
Any personal information that you disclose by submitting it on our site may be used as follows:
- For account identification, administration and authentication
- Providing project administrators with review status information
- Be made available to project administrators in the form of data exports
- With respect to ratings and comments provided during a performance review or 360 survey, for aggregation in reports that may be presented to the subjects of feedback or individually in exports available to project administrators
- If you are an administrative user (you create and manage feedback reviews in our system) your personal information may be used to send you periodic product alert messages
- If you have completed a form requesting pricing, a demonstration, technical support or other type of request that requires a response from us, your personal information will be used to fulfill that request and/or to inquire as to your needs as they relate to our product
Cookies
Similar to other commercial websites, our website utilizes a standard
technology called "cookies" and web server logs to collect information
about how our website is used. "Cookies" are small text files a website
can use to recognize repeat users. EchoSpan.com uses session-based cookies
to recognize visitors and more quickly provide personalized content or
grant you unimpeded access to the website. Additionally, our partners (AdRoll,
Google, HelpScout and/or others) may place cookies on your device to
assist with targeted marketing or product support.
Information gathered through cookies also helps us measure use of our
website. Cookie data allow us to track usage behavior and compile data
that we can use to improve the site. This data will be used in aggregate
form; no specific users will be tracked.
Generally, cookies work by assigning a unique number to the user that
has no meaning outside of the website that he or she is visiting. You
can easily turn off cookies. Most browsers have a feature that allows
the user to refuse cookies or issues a warning when cookies are being
sent. However, our site will not function properly without cookies.

Remarketing
We use Google AdWords Remarketing and AdRoll to advertise EchoSpan
across the Internet. Remarketing tools such as AdWords and AdRoll will
display relevant ads tailored to you based on what parts of the EchoSpan
website you have viewed by placing a cookie on your machine. THIS COOKIE
DOES NOT IN ANYWAY IDENTIFY YOU OR GIVE ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER. The
cookie is used to say "This person visited this page, so show them ads
relating to that page." Remarketing allows us to tailor our marketing to
better suit your needs and only display ads that are relevant to you.
Opting Out
EchoSpan will allow any user to opt out of the use of their personal
data for any reason, upon
request. If you choose, EchoSpan.com will delete any and all personal
information from our databases.

General Security Policy
EchoSpan.com is aware of your privacy concerns will attempt to collect
only as much data as is required to make your EchoSpan experience is as
high in quality as possible, in the most discrete way.
The foregoing policies are effective as of June 8, 2008. EchoSpan.com
reserves the right to change this policy at any time by notifying users
of the existence of a new privacy statement. This statement and the
policies outlined herein are not intended to and do not create any
contractual or other legal rights in or on behalf of any party.
EchoSpan is acting as a data processor on behalf of its clients.
It is the policy of EchoSpan, Inc to never release the personal
information of its clients and their respective users to third parties,
with the exception of court-issued subpoenas. Prior to disclosing any
client information to a third party requesting information via subpoena,
when possible, EchoSpan will provide clients 7 days written notice of
the subpoena as well as the contact information to the subpoenaing
party.
EchoSpan maintains and has put in place reasonable precautions to
protect information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access,
disclosure, alteration and destruction. Use of SSL technologies as well
as at-rest encryption is
standard.
EchoSpan will only process personal information in a way that is
compatible with the purposes for which it has been collected or
subsequently authorized by the individual. To the extent necessary for
these purposes, EchoSpan will take reasonable steps to ensure that data
is reliable for its intended use, accurate, complete, and current.
