Comparison Reporting _ Group Reports

With EchoSpan's comparison report options, you can create a group report that highlights differences between this year's reviews and last year's. Projects that are identical in rating scale, relationship groups, and review content are compatible with use of the comparison options.

In the group reports you can utilize the Changes over Time components and/or the Current vs Previous components. The main difference between these two components is that the Change over Time component can compare multiple review cycles for the Target where the Current vs Previous component looks at the two most recent reviews for that Target.

To add these components to your report template, follow the steps below:

• Go to Reports >> Edit Report Templates.
• Open the group report template you wish to add the comparison components to.
• Click "Insert a Report Section".

The following Current vs Previous components are available:

• Select the comparison component(s) and then click "Add Selected Components".
• Optional: reorder the components to the desired order of appearance in the report.
• Click "Save Page Order".

Next, generate the group report:

• Open the previous project and generate a group report.
• Then, open the current project.
• Go to Reports >> Create Group Report.
• Select the targets to include in the group report.
• Selec the custom report template that contains comparison components.
• Choose the previous project to compare the project to.

• Select "Create Report".
